From One To Another!

Well it has been another stellar day for news and content! Supergirl has been on hiatus for a few now as CBS didn’t know if it wanted to re-new the show. It started off pretty strong, but tapered to something like 2.6 million views a show, and at the cost of each episode, the pilot cost 14 million dollars alone, and the cost of filming in Los Angeles CBS just didn’t want to take that gamble. So what happened you ask, was it cancelled? No dear fan it was moved from CBS to it’s sister station the CW, that’s right the house that Arrow built, which features the Flash and Legends of Tomorrow as pillars of what has become a channel for DC superheroes. If Supergirl brings her fanbase there is a shot she dethrones the Flash as the highest rated show on the CW. So welcome Supergirl everyone, and if you didn’t watch Season 1 do so now because I guarantee there will be some more crossovers now that she’s home.

Now onto video game into movie news “Assassin’s Creed: The Movie” starring Michael Fassbender has released its very first trailer via the Jimmy Kimmel show last fassbender-assassins-creednight. There are a few liberties that I can see in the trailer that have been taken, the biggest is the Animus was basically a VR bed and here it’s a ton more activity then anyone should have to do while re-living someone else’s life. I guess it makes sense though because panning from action sequence to Fassbender laying in a compy recline with something on his face wouldn’t exactly make for thrilling action sequences. Being a huge fan of the games I really hope they do them justice. If you haven’t seen the full trailer here it is:

Alright folks that’s all for now, as always share, comment, but never hate!

  1. Hi there! I’m quite pleased to see Supergirl move to the CW, it’s probably where it should’ve been aired all along. I’m not sure how I feel about the many, many crossovers that I’m sure there are to come but hey, we’ll see. Nice post. Are you currently sharing your work on any other movie/tv platforms?
